Terms of Use

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and able to form a binding contract.

RECALL is a read-it-later tool that saves web pages you submit, generates AI summaries, lets you highlight and annotate, and resurfaces saved highlights over time. Features may change as we improve the Service.

You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Use accurate information when registering, and tell us promptly at hello@recall.everture.ai if you suspect unauthorised access.

You agree not to:

• save or store content that is illegal, or that infringes copyright or other rights you don’t hold;
• attempt to access another user’s data, probe or attack our infrastructure (including SSRF), or circumvent security or rate limits;
• use the Service to send spam, malware, or to scrape or resell our Service; or
• exceed or evade your plan’s quotas through automated or abusive means.

You keep all ownership of the content you save, highlight, and annotate (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to store, process, summarise, embed, and display Your Content solely to operate the Service for you. You’re responsible for having the rights to save the content you add. We claim no ownership of Your Content and use it for no purpose other than providing the Service to you.

The Service itself — our software, design, brand, and content (excluding Your Content) — is owned by Everture and protected by law. These Terms don’t grant you any right to our trademarks or to copy, modify, or reverse-engineer the Service except as permitted by law.

The Free tier is offered at no cost subject to the quotas below. Pro and Power tiers are billed monthly in advance via Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account settings; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable for partial periods. We’ll give reasonable notice of price changes, which apply from your next billing cycle.

The Free tier includes a monthly allowance (currently 100 saves and 30 AI surfacings per month). Paid tiers raise these limits. We may adjust quotas with notice and may apply reasonable fair-use protections to keep the Service available for everyone.

Pages you save are created by third parties; we don’t endorse them and aren’t responsible for their content, accuracy, or availability. AI summaries are generated automatically and may contain errors — verify anything important against the original.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don’t guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that summaries will be accurate. We don’t offer an SLA on the Free tier; paid-tier availability is best-effort during the launch period.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Everture will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, or profits. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US $50. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You agree to indemnify and hold Everture harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right (including in content you save).

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your settings, which deletes your saved articles, highlights, notes, and review history. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or to comply with law, with notice where practicable.

We may modify the Service or these Terms. For material changes to the Terms we’ll update the “Effective” date and notify you by email or in-app before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts of India will have jurisdiction, unless mandatory local law in your place of residence provides otherwise. (Everture is finalising its corporate registration; this section will be updated with the registered entity and seat once complete.)
